The Mission of the Guragha Development Association (GDA)

• Uniting all those born to the Gurage Society in Ethiopia and abroad in support of social, cultural and economic development
• To disseminate information regarding the development efforts of the society, as well as those of the Government and other institutions within the Guraghe Zone
• To mobilise resources by creating solidarity networks, organising them and providing capacity support
• To revive the spirit of self reliance that has been weakened over time by resetoring unity among all members of our society as the key instrument of the renaissance of the Guraghe.
